Melenia has been in and out of foster care since she was 7 years old, experiencing multiple placements throughout her childhood and adolescence. These frequent transitions disrupted her sense of safety, stability, and belonging, and made it difficult for her to form consistent and trusting relationships with caregivers. Despite these challenges, she has continued to demonstrate resilience and the ability to adapt to new environments and has recently gotten good grades from school with the help of tutoring from the Agency, and is trying her best.

Melenia loves doing homework and has been receiving good grades. This Christmas, she would love to receive a tablet to support her continue to do well with her studies and have an outlet for entertainment during her downtime.
