Salma is a creative, athletic, and friendly youth who always brings a smile, even when dealing with life’s challenges. She has been with DCFS for about four months, and this holiday season will be her first spent away from her family. Salma enjoys socializing with her peers and participating in after-school activities, using these outlets to focus on the positives in her life. This holiday, Salma’s greatest wish is to have a joyful and happy time with her family.

Salma is wishing for a vanity/desk to add to her new room this holiday season. She doesn’t currently have one and needs it to create a dedicated, organized space where she can do her homework. Having a desk would help her stay focused and make it easier for her to complete her schoolwork in a quiet, personal area.
