She has been with DCFS for about four months, and this holiday season will be her first spent away from her family. Salma enjoys socializing with her peers and participating in after-school activities, using these outlets to focus on the positives in her life. This holiday, Salma’s greatest wish is to have a joyful and happy time with her family.

Salma is wishing for AirPods this holiday season so she can fully enjoy her music while training with her school’s track club. She also rides public transportation to and from school and would love to listen to music during her commute, as it helps her stay centered and feel good throughout the day.
