Marquise is a bright young man who is currently living in a transitional living program (TLP) with a dozen other youths who are in extended foster care. He has faced challenges within foster care, and he has remained resilient and focused on his accomplishments. Although Marquise is still debating if college is the route he wants to take, he is pursuing certifications until he is sure of his next move. He has recently obtained certification in forklifts. He is quiet, always well-mannered, and has a smile that lights up a room.

Marquise has waited for this moment for quite some time. He is proud of his newfound independence in his first apartment. This is his first time living alone, and safety is very important to him. Unfortunately, he has not always been in safe environments, and being alone again is bringing up old feelings. He believes that using a door security bar, along with a Ring doorbell camera, will provide him with complete security as a young man living alone.
