Marquise is a bright young man who is currently living in a transitional living program (TLP) with a dozen other youths who are in extended foster care. He has faced challenges within foster care, and he has remained resilient and focused on his accomplishments. Although Marquise is still debating if college is the route he wants to take, he is pursuing certifications until he is sure of his next move. He has recently obtained certification in forklifts. He is quiet, always well-mannered, and has a smile that lights up a room.

Marquise has always had a passion for watching movies and immersing himself in the exciting worlds of video games. For the first time in his life, he is enjoying the personal sanctuary of his own apartment, which he is getting used to. He recently transitioned out of a transitional living program and into his own apartment. He has been attempting to navigate life on his own. Although he has a solid support system, there are some things that he could use some help with. When he first moved, his aunt gave him a used TV, which he is grateful for; however, it is slowly giving out. He is hoping for a new, working TV for the holiday to help him unwind after his college courses and provide him with a space of sanctuary and solitude through video games and movies.
