Owen has been in four foster homes throughout his life and has experienced three failed reunification attempts. He is currently settled in his most recent foster home, and his case is progressing toward permanency. Due to his frequent moves, Owen has never had the chance to participate in organized sports. However, in his current placement, he has developed an interest in golf and baseball, inspired by his foster brother and foster dad, both of whom play these sports. Owen is doing well in school, and the transition to permanency with his current foster family will help him build stable relationships.

Owen has been wearing hand-me-down sneakers from his foster brother. Although he thinks that his foster brother's style is so cool, he would love a new pair to feel like a typical kid. His foster family is hoping to gift him with this pair he has been talking about since the day he came into their home!
