Damon is an incredibly resilient young man living in a therapeutic foster home setting. Despite many setbacks and traumatic experiences, Damon remains free-spirited, funny, and charismatic. Damon loves football and basketball because he can be with his friends. Damon enjoys anything that allows him to socialize with other people. His foster parents joke that Damon could talk your ear off. Damon has been working hard to stay concentrated and motivated in school, which has proven challenging with so many social opportunities and friends around during the day. Damon has made an effort to work hard to support his goal of improving school behaviors by engaging in counseling at school and improving his relationships with teachers. Damon is motivated by spending time with friends or new clothes to make him feel confident

Damon says matching shoes to his outfit makes him feel confident and excited to get on the basketball court. Damon loves basketball and plays every day. Damon says he does not love school, despite all of the social opportunities. Damon is a social butterfly but struggles to stay focused in class with friends around him. Damon has had an ongoing goal this semester of reducing instances in class where he gets in trouble or needs to be redirected. Damon has made an effort on his own to work towards this goal. He moved his seat to the front of the class and asked teachers for more help. Damon's foster parents want to reward Damon's efforts with the shoes he has been asking for, requesting a gift card as his feet are growing.
