Jariah has faced significant trauma throughout her life, making it challenging for her to build relationships and develop positive coping skills. The circumstances she has encountered are undeniably unfair; however, since entering foster care, she has demonstrated meaningful growth and a newfound openness to support. She has started engaging with a new therapist and is preparing to work with a mentor—both of which are important steps she is now willing to take to create a healthier future. She has formed a strong, trusting relationship with her foster mom, whom she deeply admires and who has become a steady source of encouragement. Jariah is making truly incredible strides.

Jariah is highly motivated to make positive changes in her life. She is working diligently to improve her grades and has joined a competitive dance team. As a courageous and determined teenager, she is striving to break old habits and build new strengths. For her upcoming birthday, Jariah wishes for an iPad to help her stay organized, focused, and connected to the supportive people in her life. Unfortunately, her current foster home is unable to provide her with an iPad at this time.
