Arcadia University- H.O.M.E. ProgramJamerika is a vibrant and outgoing individual who never fails to bring a smile to everyone’s face. They were raised by their grandmother, who instilled in them the belief that every puzzle may have a missing piece, but there is always something out there that can fit. Although their childhood was different from that of many other kids, and they often faced bullying due to their unique family dynamic, their grandmother consistently reassured them of their belonging and worth. Jamerika enjoys reading both romance and zombie novels, taking long nature walks, creating art, and exploring photography and videography. Documenting life and capturing moments is especially meaningful to them, as they don’t have many keepsakes from their childhood. Additionally, they have a deep love for music and a passion for advocating for the causes they believe in.
Jamerika is asking for a walking pad with handles to help them continue their daily walking routine. Over the past year, walking outside has been an important part of their health journey, but as winter has approached, colder weather has significantly reduced how often they are able to walk and maintain their step count. They do not want to lose the progress they have worked hard to achieve simply because of seasonal barriers. Having this wish granted would allow them to stay active, protect their physical and mental health, and remain consistent in their wellness routine throughout the winter months.

A note has been added to Jamerika's wish!
"Jamerika is thrilled about their walking pad! They’ve been wanting one for a while to stay active, especially since it’s too cold to walk outside. I helped them set it up in their room, and they say thank you so much!"
