Katie is a loving and caring young lady who recently aged out of foster care and got her first apartment. The hardest part about having been in foster care was being away from her brothers, which continues to be a challenge, but she hopes to have a consistent relationship with them one day. Katie is a single mom, who works part-time at a doctor's office and attends school to become a medical assistant.

Katie gave birth earlier this year and has been struggling with her weight ever since. Because of this, most of her clothes don't fit her very well. Additionally, her 10-month-old daughter, Katalyna, has also outgrown most of her clothes and is already wearing 12-month clothes. Katie would love to receive a gift card to Kohl's so that she may go and purchase winter clothing for both her and her daughter. She would especially like to get something to wear on Christmas Eve, which she celebrates with her older sister.
