Adonay has experienced homelessness for the past three and a half years after arriving in the United States. During this time, he spent some months in foster care before reuniting with his family. Now, Adonay and his family have finally moved into their first real home—a place they can truly call their own. However, they currently have no furniture or household essentials to make their new space comfortable. Despite these challenges, Adonay continues to attend school and strives to live the life of a regular teenager. His determination and perseverance shine through, and with the right support, he and his family can begin to build stability and comfort in their new home.

Adonay would love a bed set, as he is currently sleeping on the floor with only a couple of blankets. Having a proper bed would allow him to get a good night’s sleep, which is essential for his physical health, mental well-being, and overall stability. This gift would not only provide comfort and dignity, but it would also ease the financial burden on his family as they rebuild their lives after experiencing homelessness.
