Adonay has experienced homelessness for the past three and a half years after arriving in the United States. During this time, he spent some months in foster care before reuniting with his family. Now, Adonay and his family have finally moved into their first real home—a place they can truly call their own. However, they currently have no furniture or household essentials to make their new space comfortable. Despite these challenges, Adonay continues to attend school and strives to live the life of a regular teenager. His determination and perseverance shine through, and with the right support, he and his family can begin to build stability and comfort in their new home.

Adonay would love his very first mattress, as he is currently sleeping on the floor with only blankets. Having a proper bed would allow him to get restful sleep, helping him feel energized for school and improving both his physical and mental health. This gift would bring him joy and comfort, while also easing the financial burden on his parents as they rebuild stability after years of hardship. A mattress would be a meaningful step toward creating a safe and nurturing home environment for Adonay.
