Kevin is a very energetic child whose vibrant smile brightens any room. He has faced the unfortunate trauma of losing his father to gun violence at a young age. His mother, who had Kevin at just 17 years old, has struggled to support him since his father’s death. She currently lives with family members who help provide support whenever they can. Kevin was diagnosed with autism at the age of four, which has presented additional challenges for his mother as she works tirelessly to meet his needs. Kevin loves cars and enjoys spending time outside with his older cousins. All of his cousins have electric ride-on cars, except for Kevin. His mother recently welcomed a new baby, which has made it very difficult for her to afford the car he wants. Receiving an electric ride-on car would bring Kevin immense happiness, as it would allow him to ride his own car instead of having to wait for a turn to share with his cousins. This would help him feel included and enjoy outdoor play alongside them.
