Ameriya is so sweet, friendly, helpful, outgoing, and social. She is in her 2nd year of acting as the HS wrestling manager. She reports that she enjoys keeping stats and may consider joining the team next year. She volunteers every day at the local after-school program within the family's church for 1st-8th grades. She helps with homework and engages in daily projects. When meeting with her for the first time, she shared that she is interested in nursing, specifically pediatric nursing. She loves working with younger children. She is also friendly and has a close-knit group of friends. Her caregiver shares that she is giving and thoughtful.

Ameriya has had an extremely difficult childhood. She has been brave, has spoken up and advocated for herself since she was 12 years old, but most likely she was doing this long before that age. Now learning some more difficult news, which is reopening old wounds and causing distress and anxiety has been difficult. Ameriya has had to act like an adult for many years and continues acting more mature than others her age, volunteering daily for her church and school while maintaining her grades and chores around the home. With that being said, Ameriya would also like to be a regular kid and would love a VR set, specifically the Meta Quest 3 VR Headset. She deserves to escape reality!
