Sara is a go-getter, proactive, and a good self-advocate. She was involved with the child welfare system for most of her life and was in foster care for some time. Now she's a single mom doing her best for her and her daughter. Although she's currently living in a shelter, she wants to better her life and be able to provide for them independently, so she's currently working part-time at a catering company and looking to enroll in GED classes. Sara's goal is to go to college and get a degree in psychology.

Sara is temporarily staying at a shelter until she's able to obtain/afford her own apartment for her and her daughter. She works part-time and is trying to save money. She would love to be able to go to Target and purchase things such as self-care items, hygiene items, and even some decor to help her room at the shelter feel cozier for them.
