Dannette is a single mother who goes to college part-time and also works part-time as an aide in the high school district. She loves her job, but she has been off work for a few months due to an accident-related injury. Her daughter is 4 years old, and they have a beautiful bond. You can tell that Dannette loves being a mom. Dannette is a recent survivor of Domestic violence and is still working towards finding stable housing. We are so proud of her for her bravery and optimism. Dannette was in foster care for a couple of years before returning home at 16.

Danette has been to the hospital 11 times since October, one time for 9 days straight. They originally thought it was pain from a previous hernia, but it turned out to be a new problem caused by gallstones. She ended up with pancreatitis as well. Although she was able to continue school from home, she missed a lot of work and is behind on bills. Christmas will be simple this year, she says, but she really needs an oil change and has been trying to avoid it and just not go anywhere. We would love to relieve Danette and send her over to Walmart Auto Care for a Oil Change.
