Roxy has been in foster care since she was a baby. She lost her mother early in life and was placed in an immigration detention center, where she spent two years. Afterward, Roxy was placed with family members, but unfortunately, she faced abuse and neglect until she was finally removed from that situation. Despite her traumatic experiences, Roxy continues to thrive and expresses a desire for a better life. She is an amazing, artistic, and creative child who deserves love and care.

Roxy has created a cozy corner in her room, complete with her tent and favorite sensory items that help her manage overwhelming emotions like anger, sadness, or moments of crisis. She wishes for a weighted stuffed bear to hug and cuddle with while she’s in her tent, making her safe space feel even more comforting.
