Keith is a very intelligent young man who aspires to become a lawyer one day. He has struggled mentally due to the incarceration and substance addiction of his father. Witnessing his father’s battle with drug addiction had a significant impact on Keith throughout his teenage years. After his father was incarcerated, Keith began to regress academically and lost much of his motivation. His school counselor recommended a mentorship program to help support him through this difficult period. Since being paired with a mentor, a positive change in Keith’s behavior and outlook has been observed. Keith’s mother works very hard to provide him with the support and resources he needs to stay on the right path. However, without his father’s involvement, it has been challenging for her to meet all of his needs on her own.

Keith really values his appearance at school. After facing some tough times at his previous school, he decided to switch to an alternative school with a uniform requirement. Since the school year started, he’s been getting by with just one pair of shoes, but they're looking pretty worn out and in desperate need of replacement. A new pair of shoes would mean a lot to him as he works on turning things around in his life. Good footwear would not only boost his confidence but also help him stay on track with his daily routine and keep his motivation high as he pursues his goals.
