Aliyah is currently living with her aunt, and she is thriving in this environment. She is a creative individual who enjoys art and is known for her sweet nature and thoughtfulness towards others. Aliyah loves to draw and often makes gifts for those around her. She has expressed a desire to become an artist when she grows up.

Aliyah just moved to this new home due to abuse in previous placement. This season feels different than years before. She is learning what it means to be safe in a new home. Every day is an adjustment with a new family She reported that other kids in the home ride their bikes together. She says she watches from the window. She wants to join them to belong. A bike would give her more than wheels. It would give her a way to connect with the other children and be included instead of feeling different.
