A phone for Chase to stay connected

Chase is a fun, thoughtful, and vivacious pre-teen who is truly beginning to come into his youth. Currently in kinship care with his aunt, he is growing in a stable and nurturing environment that gives him the space and security to just be a kid. Chase is eager to try new things, explore his interests, and experience the kind of consistency and support that every young person deserves. That sense of family and belonging means a great deal to him. Naturally quiet in nature, Chase expresses himself through presence rather than volume. He seeks companionship through time spent together and finds joy in simply being around the people he cares about. Whether itโ€™s sitting with family, playing games, or hanging out and talking about everyday things, Chase values togetherness. He also enjoys spending time with his friends, participating in different activities, and building meaningful connections in his own calm, genuine way. Chase is a good student who takes pride in doing well at school and is respectful to teachers and other authority figures. He approaches life with kindness, curiosity, and a growing confidence, showing maturity beyond his years. With his gentle spirit, love for family and friends, and eagerness to grow, Chase is a young man with a bright future and so much potential ahead of him.

As Chase continues to grow and step more fully into his pre-teen years, he is beginning to venture into staying with friends and participating in a wider variety of activities. Having a phone would be an important tool to support this new level of independence while still maintaining a strong sense of safety and connection. It would allow his caregivers to easily reach him at any time and stay informed about his whereabouts, providing reassurance for everyone involved. If plans change or need to pivot, clear and immediate communication would help keep everyone on the same page. A phone would also play a meaningful role in helping Chase maintain relationships that matter to him. He has past connections and family members he would like to stay in touch with, and having the ability to text or FaceTime allows those relationships to remain active and supportive. These ongoing connections help reinforce his sense of belonging and emotional stability as he continues to grow. In addition, the built-in parental controls and screen time tracking features provide an added layer of safety and guidance. These tools help ensure that Chase is using his phone responsibly while learning healthy boundaries in the online world. With the right balance of independence and oversight, a phone would give Chase a safe, reliable way to communicate, stay connected, and confidently explore this new chapter of his life.
