Chase is a fun, thoughtful, and vivacious pre-teen who is truly beginning to come into his youth. Currently in kinship care with his aunt, he is growing in a stable and nurturing environment that gives him the space and security to just be a kid. Chase is eager to try new things, explore his interests, and experience the kind of consistency and support that every young person deserves. That sense of family and belonging means a great deal to him. Naturally quiet in nature, Chase expresses himself through presence rather than volume. He seeks companionship through time spent together and finds joy in simply being around the people he cares about. Whether it’s sitting with family, playing games, or hanging out and talking about everyday things, Chase values togetherness. He also enjoys spending time with his friends, participating in different activities, and building meaningful connections in his own calm, genuine way. Chase is a good student who takes pride in doing well at school and is respectful to teachers and other authority figures. He approaches life with kindness, curiosity, and a growing confidence, showing maturity beyond his years. With his gentle spirit, love for family and friends, and eagerness to grow, Chase is a young man with a bright future and so much potential ahead of him.

Granting Chase three months of phone minutes would give him an excellent head start in getting his new phone up and running while beginning to reconnect with the friends and family members he had to leave behind during his move. Those first few months would allow him to experience the benefits of having a phone—staying in touch, making plans, and maintaining relationships—while learning how to manage the responsibility that comes with it. This initial period would also set the stage for him to earn additional minutes once the three months are up by continuing to keep up his grades, completing chores around the house, and demonstrating responsibility. It’s a thoughtful way for Chase to begin understanding not just the functionality of a phone, but the accountability and care required to use it wisely. More than just a tool for communication, the phone provides him with connectivity to his caregivers, friends, and extended family, helping him feel supported and connected as he navigates this new chapter. It’s the perfect, manageable start to the independence and communication he’s been eager for.
