Jayanna has been in foster care since she was 5 years old. Her journey has involved taking care of herself and her brother while moving between several foster homes and foster groups and staying with various family members and friends. Although she and her brother are no longer living together, Jayanna remains optimistic about being reunited with him. She is attending cosmetology and is looking for employment. She is known for being sweet, lovable, respectful, and happy, always ready to help others. Jayanna has a big heart and is very forgiving. She enjoys dancing, making TikToks, cooking, and watching the show Hell's Kitchen. Jayanna is working hard to achieve independence as she navigates independent living. Her dream is to become a traveling hair stylist and work with celebrities such as basketball player Angel Reese, and rappers Cardi B and Latto.

Jayanna enjoys going to the skating rink with friends whenever she has free time. She enjoys getting dressed up, skating, laughing, and dancing to the music the DJ plays. She has been seeking new ways to incorporate more fitness into her weekly routine. A new pair of skates would allow Jayanna not only a new workout routine, but an outlet to have fun after work and school.
