Tay is an exceptional young man living in a transitional living program without his siblings. He has been in care since 2021, when he entered at the age of 16 due to circumstances of abuse and neglect. Although being on his own and away from his family has been challenging, Tay remains a ball of energy, filled with laughter and love. He is currently enrolled in a welding program and works on weekends pursuing his passion for photography. Tay has interests in engineering and filmmaking, and he hopes to direct a film one day. Despite the emotional ups and downs he has faced, Tay consistently demonstrates good manners and is always willing to lend a helping hand while sharing a laugh or two with others.

Tayvon enjoys being warm and cozy, but as winter approaches, he finds it harder to leave his bed. With classes, work, and community groups keeping him busy, he spends a lot of time both indoors and outdoors. Although he has a few light jackets and a new coat, he would like a lightweight sweatshirt that would be perfect for staying warm while fitting into his active lifestyle this holiday season.
