Essentials and hygiene products for Niyah

Arcadia University- H.O.M.E. ProgramNiyah is a creative and resilient young woman who loves writing poetry, drawing, and spending time in nature. She has an emotional support animal named Anubis, whom she deeply loves and considers her best friend. Niyah endured significant trauma during her childhood, but she is not yet ready to share those details. Having learned to be independent and provide for herself from a young age, she finds it especially difficult to ask for support, as she is used to being turned away.
Niyah is requesting a gift card to help her purchase essential food and hygiene products. The school’s food and resource pantry, which has been her primary source for hygiene items like shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, will discontinue these products starting in the spring semester. As a result, Niyah will no longer have reliable access to these necessities. This would help bridge this gap by allowing her to buy essential hygiene items and food as needed.
