Jen is a courageous and hardworking teen who consistently rises above adversity, demonstrating remarkable strength and determination despite facing challenges that most people never will. She has survived sexual abuse and the heartbreak of being abandoned by her mother, yet she remains dedicated to her education, working diligently to keep up in school. Her confidence has flourished through playing softball, which has also fostered a sense of connection and community. In addition to her academic pursuits, Jen routinely helps her father maintain their home, showcasing a level of responsibility and resilience well beyond her years. A little support would go a long way in helping her build a brighter, more hopeful future.

Jen is expecting a baby girl in the coming months! She has been diligently gathering essentials to prepare for her arrival. Providing Jen with a mattress for her baby would be a tremendous help and would alleviate some of the stress she feels as she works hard on her preparations.
