She is adapting well to learning English and has a big heart for caring for others. Despite the hurdles she has overcome, Gisselle enjoys being helpful. Although foster care has been challenging for her, as she dearly misses her family, she remains a hopeful and joyful child who loves playing with and caring for her siblings. In school, Gisselle is a bright student with a curiosity that fuels her eagerness to learn. She loves to socialize with her friends and does her best at school every day!
Gisselle and her siblings have moved from multiple foster homes and didn't always get the chance to pack a bag or say goodbye to their belongings. Gisselle arrived with little more than what they were wearing, and now, after growing so quickly, even those clothes no longer fit. A gift card offers more than clothing—it gives them the chance to choose outfits that fit their body, their style, and their sense of self. In a season marked by loss and change, something as simple as new clothes can restore comfort, confidence, and a feeling of dignity they deserve.
