Ash is a former foster youth navigating an independent life. They currently live with their partner and their grandma, whom they care for full-time. Ash loves their pets and recently adopted a new kitten named Taz. They also enjoy playing video games and spending time with their family.

As the holidays approach, Ash has been making extra efforts to ensure their family is well cared for. However, due to unexpected expenses and emergencies, they have been struggling to keep food on the table.
