Andres has been in state custody for several years and has experienced multiple placements during this time.
Andres needs new pants to wear to school. He has begun to speak up for himself and express his wants and needs. He identified getting new pants as a true necessity and picked out a pair that he really likes. For Andres, this experience demonstrates that his independence is valued and his voice is heard.
