Demoin is such a sweet and caring kid. He loves spending time outdoors, playing basketball and football, but he’s also a passionate gamer and enjoys creating artwork. Demoin contributes around the house by helping with chores, and he looks forward to playing video games as a reward after a long day of work. Though he has faced challenges in school since entering foster care, Demoin has shown incredible determination to catch up to his grade level. His hard work is truly paying off, and he’s almost there, continuing to put in the effort every day.

Demoin is asking for something very meaningful to him, a new bed and mattress. After working hard and reaching an important milestone of no longer having nighttime accidents, he is eager to start fresh. Having a brand-new mattress would help him feel confident, proud, and secure in his own space. While in foster care, having personal items that are truly his own is incredibly important. A mattress would give him a sense of stability, dignity, and ownership over his environment—things that can often feel uncertain for children in care. This fresh start would help reinforce his progress, boost his self-esteem, and support his emotional well-being.
