Desiree has aged out of the foster care system but continues to receive support because she lacks family support. She is working hard to improve her situation and create a better life for herself and her family. As a parent, Desiree is dedicated to being the best mother she can be for her children while striving to establish a strong support system for them.

Desiree wants to start college classes and be independent while she studies. She understands that when school begins, she will need to use the computer lab to complete her assignments. However, Desiree would prefer to have her own laptop so she can work on her schoolwork whenever she wants, without having to rely on the computer lab.
