Children, Youth and Families DepartmentDestiny has aged out of the foster care system and continues to receive support from the state as she transitions into adulthood. As a young parent, she is learning how to survive and succeed for herself and her children.
Destiny is eager to pursue her education and explore new opportunities by learning a trade. She is particularly interested in cosmetology and occupational therapy. To ease into her studies, Destiny plans to start with one or two classes, allowing her to gradually adjust to a full-time school routine.
