Nevaeh came into foster care and was placed with her adult sister. She has faced a challenging life, moving between schools, and struggles with mental health, but she is working hard to stay on track and is enrolled in special education through her school. Nevaeh has three siblings who are also placed with her older sister, and she is grateful that they all get to stay together. She loves playing basketball, which has become a great outlet for her to channel her anxiety. Nevaeh plays for her school team and also participates on a recreational team, finding joy and focus through the sport.

Nevaeh loves playing basketball and would be thrilled to have her own basketball hoop in the driveway. Having a hoop at home would allow her to go outside and shoot hoops whenever she wants. It would give her a fun and healthy outlet, especially when she needs some space or time to herself. This gift would let her practice her skills, stay active, and enjoy one of her favorite activities right at home.
