Nevaeh came into foster care and was placed with her adult sister. She has faced a challenging life, moving between schools, and struggles with mental health, but she is working hard to stay on track and is enrolled in special education through her school. Nevaeh has three siblings who are also placed with her older sister, and she is grateful that they all get to stay together. She loves playing basketball, which has become a great outlet for her to channel her anxiety. Nevaeh plays for her school team and also participates on a recreational team, finding joy and focus through the sport.

Nevaeh loves basketball and also enjoys the saying “67.” She would be thrilled to have a basketball shirt with “67” on it to wear to practice. Having her own fun and special shirt would make her feel proud and unique. She recently celebrated her birthday, and this would be a meaningful and exciting gift for her. It would bring her joy both on and off the court.
