Annie is a devoted single mother living with an intellectual disability. Throughout her life, she has received very little support, often managing on her own. Despite her challenges, Annie has always worked hard and maintained a job; however, after becoming pregnant, she was unable to continue working. Following the birth of her daughter, Annie was placed in a shelter. Recently, she successfully secured her own apartment for herself and her daughter.

Annie is working hard to ensure her one-year-old daughter has everything she needs. After recently moving into stable housing, she believes a crib would make her daughter's room feel special. For both Annie and her daughter, receiving this support serves as a strong reminder that they are valued and cared for as they embark on this new journey together.
