Nigel is the middle child among three siblings in foster care. He has made significant progress in his life. Previously, he faced many behavioral challenges and struggled academically, but now he is excelling. Nigel enjoys sports and video games and has a great sense of humor. He values his independence and prefers to do things on his own, taking great pride in his accomplishments. Nigel is becoming more active in the community, enjoying sports at the local YMCA, and hopes to play football when he starts high school next year. He is passionate about football and dreams of playing in the NFL, with the Washington Commanders being his favorite team.

Nigel has outgrown his old pair of shoes and needs a new pair. He would really like some Nikes. He expressed that the clothes and shoes he usually receives make him feel inferior to his peers. A nice pair of shoes would help him feel special and included. He frequently checks the website to ensure that the shoes he wants are still available. Recently, he received a gift card, but due to his size, finding a suitable pair at a reasonable price has been challenging.
