Gabriela lives with her adoptive parents and two biological sisters. She is kind-hearted, helpful, creative, and has a passion for cooking and baking. Gabriela enjoys sushi, boba milk tea, and Frappuccinos. Being on the autism spectrum, she faces challenges with social skills, is sensitive to noise, and experiences rumination. However, Gabriela is committed to achieving her therapy goals, which include increasing her self-worth, feeling comfortable utilizing her coping skills, and effectively communicating her needs to her parents.

Gabriela has a large window in her room and wants sliding window locks. She said that having a lock would make her feel safer. For Gabriela, feeling secure and comfortable in her new room is important.
