These experiences led to mental health challenges, including depression and suicidal thoughts, as he often felt invisible to those around him. Despite the adversity, Quinton developed resilience through mindfulness and movement, finding solace in yoga. He discovered his purpose as a trauma-informed yoga instructor, wanting to support system-involved youth facing hardships similar to his own. Now, as he pursues certification, he aims to create a safe space for young people to heal, grow, and feel seen.
For his birthday this year, Quinton is asking to attend a baseball game with his best friend. Baseball is something he genuinely loves, and experiencing a big game in person with his best friend would be unforgettable. This gift would be more than just a night out; it's a memory he would cherish for a long time. It would truly mean the world to him and make his birthday feel extra special.
