Cali is a former foster youth who spent much of her childhood moving between different homes. As a result, she learned to be independent much earlier than most children. Without consistent support or stability, she had to rely on herself and make do with whatever resources were available. This experience shaped her into a resilient and self-sacrificing individual who prioritizes necessities over comfort.

Cali is in need of a dresser to create a sense of stability and ownership over her personal space. As a former foster youth, she often struggled with a lack of consistent storage for her belongings, which made it challenging to maintain organization and routine in her life. Having a dresser would not only help her keep her items organized but also restore a sense of dignity and structure, ultimately contributing to a feeling of home.
