Chyanne, a single mother, aged out of foster care and experienced approximately years of homelessness. Following the acquisition of a housing voucher, she has been able to enroll both of her children, aged nine and three, in school, providing them with much-needed stability. Chyanne aspires to enroll in Southeast Community College to pursue a degree in Human Services and obtain certification in Peer Support. Despite her personal challenges, she possesses a strong passion for assisting others. Chyanne is a strong advocate for her children and their physical and mental health struggles, always ensuring their needs are met.

Chyanne is finally in a stable place where she can focus on her personal goals. She is determined to earn an Associate's Degree in Human Services and become certified in Peer Support. Her main obstacle is obtaining a computer to complete online coursework. This computer will enable her to pursue her educational aspirations, which will benefit her personally and demonstrate the value of hard work and perseverance to her children.
