Junior is a former foster youth who aged out of the foster care system and is now living independently in his own apartment. He is a proud dog owner, and his dog means a great deal to him; their bond is especially strong, as his dog was by his side during a period of homelessness. This companionship has provided Junior with comfort, stability, and motivation during challenging times. Junior is one of the most positive and resilient individuals I have met. He is almost always smiling, frequently singing, and brings a sense of warmth and optimism wherever he goes. In his free time, Junior enjoys taking his dog for walks, cooking meals for himself and others, and spending quality time with friends. His positive outlook, perseverance, and ability to find joy despite adversity truly make him special.

After being disconnected from his biological father for many years, Junior has recently reconnected and is eager to visit him in person to build a relationship. His father currently lives in El Salvador, and the opportunity to travel there and spend time with him would finally make a long-held dream come true for Junior. This would help him with his passport fees and allow Junior to visit his father.
