She is a mother of one and a student at the College of San Mateo, where she is majoring in psychology. Sofia aspires to become a social worker and wants to work in the mental health field to help others.

Sofia is a dedicated single mother striving to create a better life for herself and her son. Lately, she has found it challenging to pick up extra shifts at work due to cutbacks affecting everyone's hours. Meanwhile, her son has gone through a growth spurt and is now nearly fitting into a men's small. Unfortunately, she can't afford to buy him a new wardrobe, especially since he doesn’t have cousins or family nearby to offer hand-me-downs.
