Nova is an amazing young lady who resides in Independent Living. She has had some struggles since being placed in foster care, but she has remained focused so she can reach her goal of going into the military. Nova is very caring and loves reading and listening to classical music. Nova continues to be hopeful her family will be reunited one day.

Nova recently became a mother to a healthy baby boy. She lives independently in an Independent Living Program and balances her part-time job with attending Skills Trade School to train as a welder, with the goal of working at the Naval Shipyard. To help her keep an eye on her baby while she studies or cooks downstairs, Nova has requested a baby monitor. She is doing well in both her school and living program, but she is on a tight budget and cannot afford a baby monitor at this time. Any assistance for Nova would be greatly appreciated.
