Damon is an incredibly resilient young man living in a therapeutic foster home setting. Despite many setbacks and traumatic experiences, Damon remains free-spirited, funny, and charismatic. Damon loves football and basketball because he can be with his friends. Damon enjoys anything that allows him to socialize with other people. His foster parents joke that Damon could talk your ear off. Damon has been working hard to stay concentrated and motivated in school, which has proven challenging with so many social opportunities and friends around during the day. Damon has made an effort to work hard to support his goal of improving school behaviors by engaging in counseling at school and improving his relationships with teachers. Damon is motivated by spending time with friends or new clothes to make him feel confident

Damon eagerly tells everyone he meets that one day he will become a professional athlete, either in hockey or football. Although he has never attended a professional sporting event, he often shares that his dream is to see the Tampa Bay Lightning play a game. Damon's passion for sports has motivated his caregiver to help him improve his grades in school. He has attended after-school tutoring sessions and studied with friends and family, leading to improved behavior in class this semester. As a result, Damon is passing all of his core classes, and his teachers have complimented his strong work ethic. He is now excited to try out for a football team and would be even more thrilled to finally see a hockey team like the Lightning play.
