Independence High SchoolSon is incredibly intelligent and does very well in his classes when his mental health is good. He often struggles with long periods of depression that can make it hard to show up for the things he wants to accomplish. He is very shy and enjoys spending time with his siblings. He loves learning about cars and hopes to work at an auto body shop in the future. He has been in and out of foster care due to instability in the home.
Son is requesting support to obtain a gift card from FoodCo, an affordable grocery store in the Bay Area. This assistance would help his family address their current food insecurity. His mom is starting a new job that will provide more stability, and while Son hopes to find a job as well, the family could use some extra help with food supplies in the meantime.
