Merrys works very hard in school. She loves to read and is diligent about her homework and punctuality. Her favorite subject is math. Although she is shy, she becomes a great friend and is very confident once she gets to know someone. She loves to laugh, and you should be prepared for her endless supply of corny jokes. Her family is being supported by CASA.

Merry is one of five kids adapting to life in a new town, and her family is going through some tough times. They moved from a warm place where snow was a fantasy, and now she really wants a pair of boots to enjoy playing in the snow. While she’s excited about the winter fun, her family's struggles make those boots feel like something she really needs to join in.
