1999 CollectiveAtlas is a thoughtful young person who entered the foster care system at age 15 after fleeing domestic and gang violence in Guatemala. They have faced more hardship in their young life, yet they continue to move forward with quiet strength and determination. As a nonbinary individual navigating homelessness, Atlas is doing everything they can to stay safe, hopeful, and grounded while they wait for stable housing.
Atlas wants some cozy winter clothes to help him feel settled in his new home. Staying warm will let him relax after long days of work and responsibilities. Having basic winter gear is important for his mental well-being, helping him feel dignified and comfortable as he adjusts to life on his own.
