Atlas is a thoughtful young person who entered the foster care system at age 15 after fleeing domestic and gang violence in Guatemala. They have faced more hardship in their young life, yet they continue to move forward with quiet strength and determination. As a nonbinary individual navigating homelessness, Atlas is doing everything they can to stay safe, hopeful, and grounded while they wait for stable housing.

Atlas really wishes for a sturdy pair of Jordan sneakers for his daily commute. Since he walks to public transportation for work during the winter, it’s essential that he has the right shoes to handle snow and cold weather. Good footwear not only keeps him comfortable and stable but also boosts his confidence and sense of pride. With the right shoes, Atlas can feel more secure and self-sufficient as he goes to work and appointments.
