Shon is a sweet and loving young man in foster care. He was diagnosed with autism when he was 7 and was nonverbal at that time. He is doing great, learning to talk through therapy, and becoming increasingly independent. He loves playing video games and playing online. He also very much loves Disney movies, and Ratatouille is his absolute favorite. He loves movie nights with his family.

Shon is hoping for a birthday dinner to celebrate his special day. He has been craving chicken tenders and chocolate molten cake, and being able to enjoy his favorite foods would make the day even more meaningful to him. While he is in foster care, having the opportunity to gather with family and friends helps him feel connected, supported, and loved. Sharing a meal together creates lasting memories and gives him a sense of belonging.
