Youth RepresentKay is a kind and gentle person living in a shelter. She deals with challenges that most would find difficult at her age. Kay is diligently working towards her graduation in hopes of finding stability in her life. She enjoys creating art, writing poetry, and exploring New York City.
This winter, New York is experiencing extremely cold temperatures, and Kay is struggling to stay warm while she sleeps. Her makeshift setup isn’t providing enough warmth, and the heating in her shelter isn't working consistently. Having a cozy comforter to snuggle under at night would make her nights much more restful and safe.
