Helena is a resilient and determined young adult who has overcome significant challenges. After enduring years of childhood trauma, she has worked diligently in therapy and concentrated on her education. She graduated from high school with the second-highest GPA in her class and earned a Seal of Biliteracy.

Helena is in the process of reunifying with her young son and is committed to building a strong, active, and nurturing routine with him. She lives in an area without public transportation and plans to walk with her two-year-old to nearby community spaces, including a local park and zoo, to help him explore, learn, and bond with her through positive shared experiences. Because her son is still very young, he often becomes tired during outings. This stroller would allow Helena to safely and comfortably transport him so their activities can last longer and remain enjoyable. Helena is also continuing her nursing studies and carefully manages a limited budget.
